At this summer’s Adviser Academy, Walsworth’s Jenica Hallman, CJE, and Ciara Pemberton presented a session on how to Be Bold & Market Creatively to help yearbook staffs expand their marketing presence.
While it’s important to use a mix of both traditional, in-school sales campaigns and digital marketing tactics, the best way to market the yearbook is to meet your audience where they’re at. Engage with parents through email and social media while interacting with students at school. Bonus points if you can catch your community off guard to grab their attention in a unique way! This session covers the basics of marketing, teaches essential strategies to boost yearbook sales, gives a glance into which Walsworth materials can transform your program and wraps up with creative campaigns we seen and loved from our very own schools.
