Possibilities, Vol. 6, the most recent edition of Walsworth’s idea book which showcases outstanding yearbook work done by Walsworth schools, was honored with a Best of Category award on Thursday night at the Graphex Awards held by the Printing and Imaging Association (PIA) of MidAmerica.
Possibilities was one of 32 Best of Category winners chosen out of hundreds of entries from across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
Overland Park, Kan. (April 20, 2015) – Five 2014 yearbooks printed by Walsworth Yearbooks were among those chosen as winners of Yearbook Pacemaker awards from the National Scholastic Press Association this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Denver.

Overland Park, Kan. (Jan. 19, 2015) – Renee Burke, MJE, adviser at William R. Boone High School in Orlando, Fla., was named a Distinguished Adviser this week when the JEA announced the recipients of its annual Yearbook Adviser of the Year honors.
Overland Park, Kan. (Dec. 18, 2014) – Nine 2014 yearbooks printed by Walsworth were among the high school and middle school yearbooks announced as 2015 Scholastic Crown Award Finalists by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association today.
Overland Park, Kan. (Sept. 15, 2014) – Chris Waugaman, a journalism teacher at Prince George High School in Prince George, Va., has been chosen as the 2014 National High School Journalism Teacher of the Year by the Dow Jones News Fund.
Overland Park, Kan. (Aug. 26, 2014) – A former Walsworth Yearbooks employee, and two former yearbook advisers from Walsworth customer schools in Nebraska – all recently retired – were among those named as Lifetime Achievement Award winners on Tuesday by the Journalism Education Association (JEA).
Overland Park, Kan. (April 28, 2014) – Kim England, the yearbook adviser at Walsworth customer school Lee’s Summit North High School in Lee’s Summit, Mo., was recently named the Missouri Journalism Teacher of the Year by the MIPA.
