In three sentences, the opening of the 2017 edition of The Tower explained how students as individuals (“fragment”) come together to create community (“fuse”). Gorgeous photography, lots of white space and use of an angled line as a theme element created a simple look for rich content of stories highlighting people and groups. Those common elements enabled the staff to create individual spreads that still look like they belong to this book.
