President’s Collection

The theme of the 2018 Lair centered on the idea of getting “lost” in a busy high school year, and the Northwest staff did a beautiful job expressing those ideas in their book. The effects and images on the cover are the beginning of the swept away feeling, and that same washed away look appears on other theme spreads. The story-driven coverage of The Lair stands out with excellent writing and several “show-stopper” spreads that makes the reader take notice.
