President’s Collection

With the 2018 Raider, editors Susan Huang and Isabel Solorzano set out to create a yearbook that would capture what they felt set Gulliver Prep apart from other schools – academics, service and community. The book’s theme, “At the Heart of It,” represented the staff’s attempt to show not just the surface, but also the core of their school. The drawing on the cover, done by Huang, set the tone for the book’s entire look, which featured a soft color palette and airy feel. The chronological coverage wasn’t afraid to make use of large, bold photos that showed off Gulliver Prep’s unique spirit.
