Seven yearbooks honored with 2009 ACP Pacemakers

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 4, 2010) – Seven collegiate yearbooks were selected as ACP Pacemakers from the 14 honored as Pacemaker Finalists by the Associated Collegiate Press during the ACP/CMA National College Media Convention in Louisville this past weekend.

Each year, the ACP’s Pacemaker is considered one of the highest honors in scholastic journalism. Judges rank the yearbooks on thorough coverage and content, sophisticated design, exemplary writing and editing and outstanding photography.

Two yearbooks published by Walsworth – Cactus, from the University of Texas, and Griffon, from Missouri Western State University – were among the list of 2009 Pacemaker Finalists.
