In their own words
"Above all else, Oviedo is a community. Orange and black. Blood rushes through our veins and screams O-Town. It is tradition to stand crammed side-by-side at pep rallies, booing the freshmen, really whenever and wherever they can, we stand tall, but do you expect any different?
Everyone else knows Oviedo. We live in their heads, rent-free. We boast our name, with our loud roars and burning tradition. We are renowned, a cut above the rest. We hear about our sports, our academics, our events, and our spirit. Spirit so loud, we broke our brand new tables. We are district champs for football, swimming, volleyball - and that's just in the fall. Our reputation is known, and we rise above it.
We are above all else. We will still be be Oviedo in 100 more years. We have stood the test of time, and we will remain. Who knows what is to come? No one can truly tell what the future will hold, but one thing stays for certain. We will be Oviedo. As the class of 2023 graduates, they will carry on Oviedo's torch and shine their light anywhere else they go. "Cheers to 100 years" has been our motto, from August to May. So, here's to OHS. Cheers to 100 years and 100 more to come."
