"We have always been told that time is limited and that we must live our lives to the fullest, never waste a second or dwell on the past. It's time to apply for colleges and your FAFSA so you can get a pass for off-campus lunch; maybe even time to start thinking about your career. Do you remember when you even started thinking about colleges? How it all seemed so far away, that you didn't see yourself going to a familiar college like UTEP, but realized that UT Austin or Harvard was a fever dream in itself? While we may walk these halls unaware of the school's 20-year history, this school has undoubtedly seen us grow, with or without knowing our past. It's time to see the change. To seed growth. To reflect on ourselves. It's time to reflect on that time when."
