"Not everything goes as planned

"Picture Day was the first day of school... at least you were in your brand new school clothes.

"Lost nearly 20 teachers from last year... but fresh faces joined the familiar ones, and greeted us in August.

"A record-breaking heat wave affected fall sports, changing practice schedules and challenging athletes... yet boys soccer still managed to make history, playing in the state championship game.

"The final record didn't always show all the effort and heart that went into the game, but we were still proud to wear the black & gold."
